Eat Some BRAINS the JibJab Way

Or do one better - clown around in your own JibJab movie. At least, that's the idea, according to their mission: To give you funny jokes, animated videos, cartoons, flash movies, hilarious clips, parody and such, created by YOU. How is it supposed to work?

1. Sign up
2. Go to your page
3. Head over to "Starring You"
4. Click on the "My Heads," "JibJab Heads," or "Public Heads" tab to upload your photo or choose one
5. Don't wait too long if nothing happens…

which is exactly what I experienced three times in a row. So, until they fix things, here is some brains, cooked sometime previously when the chef seems to have been on duty....

Hi, I work at JibJab. Can you tell me a little about where you are experiencing problems in the process of making your SY movie?
Your comment indicates that you are stalling at the time where you would usually get the player or headcutting tool which are both contained within a pop-up. Also, you may not be seeing the upload or browse buttons. Keep me posted.

Hi - thanks for the immediate follow-up!

None of the "My Heads," "JibJab Heads," "Public Heads," or other tabs work in the "Starring You" section (if that's where they are) when I click on them. (Single or double click.)

This is true with IE 7 as well as Firefox 2 on Win XP. I haven't tried it on Mac Safari.

Trust this helps!

Hmmm, did you make sure you are alliowing pop-ups? In IE7 is will show all the blocked pop-ups under the address bar. Also, make sure you have all your scripting enabled. Tools, Security, Custom Level, scroll down to scripting and enable all the options, ok. Do a hard refresh (control and F5) and see what happens. Also, make sure you delete your cookies/cache. SY tweaks if you have not cleared your cache in a long time. Keep me posted.

That's too much to ask for from an average user. However, eveything seems to work in Safari, so I'll just use that.

Thanks for the quick follow-through!

No problem. Email us if you have any other issues.

Also check out our new product, Sendables. We released it yesterday. Great stuff and hilarious.
